German Gamesurf/Tiscali honours Kult with 90%!
German games giant Gamesurf/Tiscali rated Kult a whopping 90% and gave it the “Award of Excellence”. This is what they had to say:
“Religion ist Tod - Tod der Religion! Diesen Wahlspruch hat sich in den Häretischen Königreichen der Orden des
Schleiers>
- ein Geheimkult zur Ausmerzung jeglicher religiöser Bräuche - auf die Fahnen
geschrieben. Zu diesem Zweck werden
Inquisitoren ausgesandt, die dem gewöhnlichen Volk das Konzept des Atheismus nahe legen
sollen, nötigenfalls mit
Waffengewalt”.

RPGDot rates Kult 79%
RPGDot, one of the leading dedicated RPG gamesites on the web, have put up their verdict of Kult Heretic Kingdoms.
After playing the game for hours and hours straight, their reviewer stated: “The action-RPG market has been a little
crowded lately but despite some shortcomings, I enjoyed Kult more than any other action-RPG I have played this year,
thanks to the combination of original ideas and a strong story. The Attunements system is fun when fully exploited
and the quests are superior to the meaningless fare often encountered in this genre”.&

New Kult Interview at Filefront
Filefront has put up an interview with "Heretic Peter" and “Creative Chris".
The wellknown USA based gamesite did a good job and fired some rather nasty
questions at our artistic duo: "Was there anything that the developing team
specifically tried to avoid in order to make the game more original from its
predecessors, like Diablo, for instance? Peter: The game is far from being a>
direct copy of any other game – anyone, that plays Kult will see this after
the first few minutes of the gameplay. Once the player receives enough
Attunements to combine them in various manners, they can create their
own combat styles and so forth – that’s where the real gameplay fun begins…".

More Kult reviews coming in
Over the past few days we added even more reviews to our database.
Gamershell for example, rated Kult 80% and this is what they said: "“Morality it seems is a popular conceit with RPG developers of late. Fable obviously with its horny protagonist (or not, if you choose the path of good); Knights of the Old Republic had the
Sith/Jedi conundrum; and now there is Kult: Heretic Kingdoms. Created by Slovakian developer 3D People and published by European company Project Three Interactive”. More about the
Gamershell review can be found

First review at
IdleThumbs
Idle
Thumbs published a very interesting Kult review: “Somewhere
near the onset of the game I offered to pay a miller the dowry that
his son in law owed him. |
 |
The miller's
exact words were, "Do you have some pathological need to help
people?" By god! He's right! I do! I stopped playing there and
took a step back to ponder about what just happened. Curiously
enough, once I got back to the game, I forgot about the yellow pad I
was supposed to be taking notes on”.More…

Kult Preview at RPGDot .....
RPGDot has published a very positive Kult hands on preview written by Brian Turner. A short snip: “Kult takes the standard action-RPG formula, adds some real story depth and shakes it up with interesting ideas. There’s nary an elf or dwarf in sight, replaced by a mysterious and gritty setting of downtrodden peoples and warring factions. The story is intriguing and the quests are designed to expand the story, rather than the too common “collect the 5 magic rings of Akbah to defeat the evil demon”…
