Question: I have problems during the installation of Kult - Installation runs fine, until some point, where it stops and crashes. What can I do? Answer: Try to free more disk space on your C drive. In case you can't free more disk space on your system drive, you will need to change the default windows temp drive in the following way: change the TMP and TEMP variables in Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Environment Variables to the other drive (d:\temp for example) and restart your computer. Question: The game runs very slowly on my computer/it doesn't want to start. What can I do? Answer: There are several possible problems. In case you are running Windows XP with SP2/DirectX 9.0c, install DirectX 9.0b. Graphic drivers: There is a collision with some driver releases/HW combinations. In case you are using the latest vendor driver release, uninstall the drivers and try the native windows drivers (in case this is not possible, try using some older driver release). In case you run some older drivers, try installing the newest release. Question: The fonts in the game don't show up. Answer: This problem might be related to the font type display. Please download the patch 1.2 (or later version if available) and install it. If the problem remains, please edit the line of the file config.cfg in the following way: gr_font= 1 Question: The game doesn't run on my Windows 98/ME system. Answer: Kult was originally not intended to run on these older operation systems and does not officially support Windows 98/ME operating systems. But it is possible to run it although. Download the patch 1.2 (or later if available) and install it. Edit the line in the file config.cfg in the following way: gr_font= 1 Playing the Game Question: When I drop a container and save, the saves get corrupted. Answer: Please install latest Kult's patch. It solves several problems, and this was one of them. Unfortunately the saves don't get repaired with this patch, so it is necessary to look for some older, uncorrupted save to continue your quest. Question: Is there multiplayer support in Kult? Answer: No, Kult features singleplayer only. Question: How do I sleep/rest and regain my strength? Answer: You can rest only at specific places. This includes - fireplaces, inns, houses you can buy and places where it is offered to you in dialogue. Question: How can I change my Active Attunements? Answer: You can change your Active Attunements when you are spending the night at a fireplace, inn or house. Question: Where can I find the minimap? Answer: Kult doesn't include the minimap feature - the structure of the maps has been kept simple and within easonable size. In some of the maps other orientation helpers like signposts are present for the careful observer. Question: I can't get the Gozen's bodyguard fight from the Arbiter. Answer: There is a chance that you receive the wrong answer from him. Make sure to ask the Arbiter several times for the fight to get the correct answer. Or download the latest patch, in which this minor problem was patched... Question: I have problems with the Spanish version - I can't seem to enter the Gladiator Arena and I am stuck/I can't learn the Warlord Attunements . Answer: Please download and install the latest patch for Kult. This will solve the problem. General Troubleshooting Question: I am stuck/Cant find item X/Don’t know where to go/Heeeeeelp!!
